CITY OF LIGHTS

Oil on canvas, 30.5 X 40.5cm with painted edges, framed in white tray frame 35.4 X 44 cm. It was painted during the longest lock down in Auckland, New Zealand, which started August 2021. It was done during the one of my zoom classes and I was very happy with it. While I was trying to take a photo it fall down and got smudged. I tried to fix it but was not really happy with the outcome. Once the painting was dry I got an idea to paint a bubble around it and it really worked. I am pretty happy with the outcome and it is among my favorite paintings.
