RETROSPECTIVE
I created this page to show visitors of my web site where I am coming from by showing you my earlier work and some of my exhibitions.
Belov is the link to unstretched paintings from my shop. In 1993 I come to New Zealand with 50-60 unstretched paintings on the canvas. Some of them I managed to sell but lots of them were staying in the same suitcase in which I brought them with me more than 20 years ago. Through the years I had to take off canvases because I am so prolific and sometimes just could not keep with all the paintings. Some of them travelled to Hawaii and back after the exhibition.

Above is the triptych LIFE STREAM/SAILING, which was exhibited in my exhibition Mystique in Whangarei.
I originally made a triptych named SAILING in 2008, this was my traditional New Years painting, after a while I decided to remove the third panel as it was not working for me. For several years I rented it as a diptych and just before the exhibition it was returned to me so I decided to include it in the exhibition, but I added another third piece called LIFE STREAM, which was floating in front of the two large panels, which was creating a unique looking that was very different and intrigued many viewers.
LIFE STREAM/SAILING, 2008/2015, oil on canvas, 111 cm high, 182 cm wide,
floating panel in the middle 100 cm high, 16 cm wide, oil on linen
