MADAM BUTTERFLY

Oil on canvas, 51 X 51 cm (approx. 20 X 20 inches), painted edges 1.5 inches thick stretcher bars. It is very special painting for me. After several layers I took it with me and while I was doing oil painting workshop in Christchurch I completed it. When I am am painting I just go with the flow and my logic was I got pretty lady + Butterfly = Madam Butterfly. It is framed in  white tray frame 55 X 55 cm.
